1 These are the generations of Lambert, son of Lambert As.
2 Lambert was a wever and lived in Hattem, great city of Gelderland.
3 And he begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Asjen.
4 And Lambert was forty and eight years old when he begat Asjen in the year of the flood of Martin and Lambert died.
5 And Asjen lived forty and six years and begat Rutger.
6 And Asjen lived after he begat Rutger thirty and eight years, and begat sons and daughters.
7 And all the days of Asjen were eighty and six years:and he died.
8 And Rutger lived thirty and nine years, and begat Lubbert.
9 And Rutger lived after he begat Lubbert thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.
10 And all the days of Rutger were sixty and nine years: and he died. 11 And
Lubbert lived sixty and two years, and begat Jan and Hendrik and Gerrit and Rut with his second wife. 12 And Lubbert lived after he

died. 17 And Berend lived twenty and three years, and he begat Rutger Andries.
18 And Berend lived after he begat Rutger Andries forty and three years, and begatsons and daughters.
19 And all the days of Berend were sixty and six years: and he died. 20 And Rutger Andries
lived thirty and nine years, and he begat Berend. 21 And Rutger Andries lived
after he begat Berend nineteen years, and begat three daughters. 22 And all
the days of Rutger Andries were fifty and eight years: and he died. 23 And
Berend lived thirty and two years and he begath Rutger Andries with his wife Harmpje.
24 And Berend lived after he begat Rutger Andries thirty and six years and he begat Albert and
John-James and a daughter. 25 And all the days of Berend were sixty and eight years and he died.
